As a member of the Seattle Flute Society you will be connected to a diverse network of professional and amateur flutists, students, teachers, and patrons of all levels.  Each season (September 1st to August 31st) we present local or national flutists of high caliber in several events such as workshops, masterclasses, performances, and pedagogy courses. Because the SFS is a non-profit organization, these events are made possible through membership fees and donations. The SFS offers several types of memberships all of which include many benefits (outlined below). We encourage you to become a member of the SFS and help our network grow so we can continue to provide opportunities for flutists in the future.

Membership Levels:

• Active Membership - $35/year

• Patron Membership (for those wishing to offer additional support to the flute society) - $75/year

• Commercial Membership (for businesses wishing to advertise and exhibit at the Flute Festival) - $100/year

• Lifetime Membership - $500

• Discounted tickets for all events

• Receive the SFS Newsletter

• Make announcements about jobs, performances, instruments for sale, etc. on our Facebook page or in the newsletter

• Listing in our Online Teacher Directory

• Participate in the SFS Flute Choir

• Opportunity to perform in the All Members' Recital or Young Members' Recital

• Apply to perform in our competitions and masterclasses: Horsfall Competition (Grades 6-12), Young Artist Competition (Age 30 and under), Felix Skowronek Memorial Event Masterclass (no age requirement)
