Rehearsal Time and
Location: The SFS Flute Choir meets
from October through June of each year. Rehearsals are held on Sunday
evenings from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at
Northminster Presbyterian Church, 7706 25th
Ave NW, in the Ballard/Loyal Heights area of Seattle.
Fee: The twice-yearly fee of $30 is due in October and February (make
checks payable to the Seattle Flute Society). All participants must be
current SFS members.
The SFS Flute Choir is a positive and friendly group. The group's style is upbeat and encouraging, with an emphasis on
skill-building. If you are rusty or haven't played in an ensemble recently
(or ever!), this may be the ensemble for you—give us a try!
To join the SFS Flute
Choir, please
the Flute Choir Manager, Lisa Hirayama. There is no audition—all
current SFS members are welcome. Intermediate and advanced level flutists
will be comfortable with the difficulty of the repertoire. You are welcome
to sit in with the ensemble for a week or two before joining. (Please
Kate Kralik in advance to let her know that you will be attending so that music can be ready for you.)
