Our next masterclass is October 2nd, please postmark by September 19th. The following masterclass is October 18th, please postmark by October 3rd.

Guidelines:

1. Applicants must be current SFS or AHS members, and submit a recording (CD preferred) that contains their unedited performance of the solo repertoire they intend to perform.  If the work includes piano accompaniment, the audition recording must also include accompaniment.

2. Editing includes, but is not limited to:
   
   

   1. stopping or cutting the recording at any time during the solo, even for cuts.
   2. enhancing or equalizing the recording in any way.
    

3. Do not identify the recording in any way - no labels and no speaking.  To ensure impartial judging, each tape will be marked and coded upon receipt.

4. There is no application fee. All selected participants will pay the admission fee.

5. Participants may only be selected to perform in one masterclass per season.

6. Please, no mail that requires the receiver’s signature.

7. Please include, on a separate sheet of paper (typed):
   
   

   complete title (including movements) of your selection composer’s information (full name and dates) for your selection your contact information (phone, address, email) a brief personal biography of 500 characters or less accompanist’s name and biography of 500 characters or less
